Change of Agricultural Technology and Impacts on Farmer's Relationship with Nature and Environment in Timor, Indonesia.

This paper examines the impacts of agricultural technology changes on farmers' relationship with nature and their environment. Based a field study in Bena Irrigation Area South Amanuban Sub-District, Timor, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, this analyses how introduction new technologies agriculture by Government Indonesia these last 30 years has changed farmer's pattern cultivation, views about environment, ways they link activities social life. found that many traditional steps cultivation cycle have disappeared or been replaced technologies, resulting profound attitude to nature, environment relationships. Impacts productivity are still debatable. However, argues some supporting policies necessary make use give best benefit for welfare farmers preservation nature.
